Mid Ulster Auctions Achieve New Levels

Mid Ulster Auctions are very proud to recognise the company’s achievement of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. We now have not one but these three credentials, a true recognition of the high standards our company operate by.  

 

The United Registrar of Systems Limited rigorously audited the company and praised both management and staff on the quality of our business practice and the commitment of the company to the attainment of these three prestigious standards within the one audit period. URS over a three month process assessed the company’s quality, environmental and health and safety systems, all successfully integrated into one coherent system. Mid Ulster Auctions are now certified of the ISO 9001: 2008 Quality standard, ISO 14001:2004 Environmental standard and the OHSAS 18001:2007 esteemed Occupational Health and Safety standard.
 



Mid Ulster Auctions prove the Engineering Sector is still Geared

Saturday 24th September witnessed one of the largest auctions of gearing and engineering equipment ever held in Northern Ireland. The auction conducted on behalf of Cavanagh Kelly to dispose of all company assets of Limavady Gear Company Ltd, attracted such strong bidding the value of equipment was well and truly exceeded. Auction attendees were amazed at the prices achieved and were restored with confidence in their market sector. Top line prices and such strong bidding from over 500 bidders highlighted the strong success of the auction and only concluded one thing…the engineering sector is still geared and going strong in the midst of the current market downturn.

 



Getting Geared for Limavady

We have received instruction from  John J Cavanagh of Cavanagh Kelly to dispose of the company assets of Limavady Gear Company Ltd ONSITE in Limavady on Saturday 24th September 11am at 99 Dowland Road, Limavady BT49 0HR. Entries will comprise of Gearing Equipment, Overhead Cranes, Forklifts, Vehicles and 100’s of items of Engineering Equipment. It’s a Liquidation Disposal Not To Be Missed!

LAUNCHING Ireland’s First Monthly Live-Online AGRI Auction Saturday 25th June 2011

Due to the success of our parade style auctions we are launching Ireland's first monthly Live-Online AGRI Auction the 25th June 2011.

 

With early entries looking very promising it is anticipated that there will be in excess of 100 lots of agricultural equipment, tractors and farm machinery of all descriptions and makes from vintage through to modern, all driven through the ring.



Our Focus for 2011

Continuing to do what we do best, Mid Ulster Auctions will expand our core business to achieve greater market leadership by focusing solely on the remarketing of Plant, Machinery, HGV's and Commercial Vehicles, alongside specialising in off site and property sales, and Liquidation / Disposal auctions.

Working closely with highly recognised finance, leasing and hire companies, local authorities and fleet operators we will continue to ensure a constant supply of quality vehicles and equipment from trusted and recognised sources. LAUNCHING Live On-Line Bidding 2009

We are the only Auction House in Ireland to offer a fully comprehensive live and on-line bidding service worldwide at all our auctions for small tools, light commercial vehicles, heavy good vehicles, trailers, plant and machinery. We introduced this facility in mid June 2009 and it has been an extraordinary success. It has enabled us to widen our customer base extensively, attracting customers from countries such as France, Germany, Poland, Saudi Arabia; even as far as China, United States and Australia.

Overall, from the launch of our live and on-line bidding service along side the introduction of our new website we have attracted awareness from 55 countries / territories, outside of the UK and Ireland. This has ultimately allowed assets to gain full market value, with an increase in residuals achieved; the ultimate goal. Also
